Canby is a  Senior oriented city:
Canby Adult CenterCanby Adult Center offers many excellent programs such as lunches, games, bazaars, trips, classes, health services, assistance programs....

Canby Swim Center - Canby's full size swimming pool with numerous opportunities for morning swims, exercise swims....

Canby Fine Arts Center - offering numerous entertainments including the Canby Community Concert Series, School and Summer Musicals....

Community Events - Wait Park with it's old fashioned gazebo offers many community events including a summer concert series; General Canby Day with an old fashioned 4th of July parade and live community bands playing all day in the gazebo; the Clackamas County Fair; an active Grower's Market every Saturday morning through the growing season; Swan Island Dahlia Tours in the Fall, the list continues.... 

The Community of Canby - a very active, homelike, "small town atmosphere" with a lot to do and a lot to become involved with if desired.  A community very aware and appreciative of their senior citizens. 

Many Senior Living Options
Gardenhomes at Hope Village
A Senior living option, Hope Village offers an 80-unit Assisted Living facility and a 50-unit Skilled Living complex. A low-income apartment complex offers 50-units to qualifying Seniors. A total of 68 Garden Homes, which are for independent living, are available to the Senior community, as is a Community Center.

The Rackleff House is another assisted living option Canby has to offer, with its comfortable, secure, scenic setting. Small enough to feel like home, with all the professional services and amenities you require.

Another option in senior living is Country Side Living, a beautiful residential care facility which specializes in Alzheimer's and dementia care, is located in the downtown core area.
