| Canby
Kids Youth sports programs are offered primarily for children in
grades K-8. Programs offered are T-Ball, Softball, Baseball, Football,
Soccer, Volleyball, and Wrestling. Canby KIDS is a non-profit,
volunteer organization. Funding sources include sponsor fees, donations
made by local businesses as well as private parties. Thousands of
volunteer hours are donated by parents and community members each year,
to create a successful program.

Canby Public Library Since 1937 the Canby Public library has
served the informational, recreational and cultural needs of the
community. Located on the corner of Third and Holly streets, the library
offers free access to best sellers, videos, DVD's, CD's, reference help,
and materials for children and families. Library cards are free to
residents of Clackamas, Washington, and Multnomah counties. Through
the Library Information Network Automated System (LINAS), the Canby
Public Library connects its users to library services throughout the
tri-county region. The public can access the library on-line catalog
either at the library or from home computers. Canby's World Class
library offers the latest information technology to Canby area students.

Swim year round at the indoor
Canby Swim Center, located on South Ivy
Street. In addition to recreational swimming times, there are numerous
programs such as water exercise classes, swim teams, swim lessons, lap
swims, and adult/senior activities. For more information or to rent the

Canby Adult Center A newly expanded senior center on South Ivy
and 13th streets serves the senior adult community with a variety of
activities and services. The center meal program serves nutritious hot
meals four days a week at noon at the center, as well as to those who
need home delivered meals. For more information on the Adult Center

Canby Community Education
Recognizing that learning has no
boundaries of age or interest, Canby Community Education provides
educational, recreational, cultural and vocational programs, with the
cooperative effort of Clackamas Community College. The program serves
all ages and is constantly adjusting to the most current and pressing
needs and interests of the community. In addition to
the general interest classes and workshops, the Community Education
offers such programs as after school childcare at four school sites,
open gyms, computer instruction, and cultural arts events.
Community involvement is highly encouraged and may include teaching a
class, supervising an activity, participating in a program, volunteering
or suggesting new program ideas. Tuitions and fees are charged for most
programs.

Canby has an active community
theater that take advantage of our Fine Arts Center with productions
throughout the year.
