Suggestions for a Successful Business Event

• Set date 6-8 weeks in advance.

• Notify Chamber Office, 503-266-4600. Event can be published in monthly newsletter if submitted by the 12th of the previous month for the following month's newsletter. Deliver press releases to media:

• Mailing lists of Chamber members are available at the Chamber office if you wish to mail or hand-deliver invitations for your event. We have found that hand-delivering with a follow-up phone call the day before the event generates the most guests.

• The Chamber office will mail out postcards to Chamber members for Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies (New Business or New Location).

• Refreshments are a nice touch. The Chamber has quite a selection of local Caterers and Wineries that would be glad to help with your special event.

• Don't forget to invite: Friends, Family, Clients and anyone else you would like to have attend your event.
